The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks associated with the acquisition, storage, and distribution of food and other donated products including pulling orders, unloading deliveries, repacking food products, operating warehouse equipment, and general maintenance and cleanup.
The Partner Agency Education VISTA will work to assist The Idaho Foodbank to coordinate education and delivery to a partner agency network that consists of 220+ non-profit organizations in all of Idaho’s 44 counties. These partner agencies are focused on supplemental food provision and other hunger relief efforts.
The Volunteer Services – Boise AmeriCorps VISTA will work closely with the Volunteer Program Coordinator, Warehouse Managers, and Volunteer Services AmeriCorps VISTA members stationed in Lewiston and Pocatello to continue developing and implementing statewide volunteer training programs.
2016 “Feds Fighting Hunger” by Supporting Feds Feed Families USDA is once again leading the 2016 Feds Feed Families (FFF) campaign with the support of the Chief Human Capital Officers Council and other agency partners. The campaign runs from June 1, 2016 through August 30, 2016.
