KBOI-TV2 – in partnership with Bronco Motors, RC Willey and the Idaho Press-Tribune – did it again. Preliminary results show that thanks to excellent promotion, hard work and generous donors from throughout the valley, the sixth annual Drive, Drop and Donate food and fund drive generated $9,560 in cash and 9,299 pounds of food.
Because the Foodbank pays primarily for the transportation rather than the food itself, we can provide three meals for every dollar donated. That works out to a total of 36,429 meals for this drive. That is enough to feed 10 families of four people for eight years. Once again, we are most grateful to the staff and management at KBOI-TV2, Bronco Motors, RC Willey and the Press-Tribune for all the work they put into this drive, as well as their compassion and continued dedication.
