Bequests – The Will to End Hunger in Idaho
One of the simplest and most direct ways to make a legacy gift is through a bequest in your will and last testament. The language you can discuss with your attorney is straightforward:
“I, [your name], of [city, state, zip], give, devise and bequeath to The Idaho Foodbank [specific amount or percentage of your estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use [or you may designate] and purpose to fulfill its mission.”
If you decide to remember The Idaho Foodbank with a bequest in your will, you will be making a lasting contribution to Feeding the Future. Your gift will provide food to hungry people. You may designate a specific amount or asset, a percent of your total estate or a share of the assets after gifts to your heirs.
