It was a spontaneous effort that turned out very well. A group of families decided to hold scavenger hunts for food in their neighborhoods as a way to participate in the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service. Three of the families brought their food to the Boise warehouse on Monday (Jan. 21) to have it weighed and get a tour of The Idaho Foodbank.
These three families brought in 445 pounds, enough for 370 meals.
Thank you all for sharing your holiday with the families that will be nourished by your generosity.
