The Relief Society of the Tyhee Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is having a Sweet Summer of Service.
Members are organized and challenged to complete several service projects culminating on September 28 with a quilt-tying event, a book drive and a food drive. The Idaho Foodbank is the lucky recipient of their help on the first Monday of every month.
The service projects are designed to inspire members to continually seek out and help those in need around them. Organizer Barbara Schoenfeld expresses the “hope that this Sweet Summer of Service will become a lifetime of service for each of our members.” We hope so, too.
