Schedule: 8 hours per day Monday-Friday
Service Dates: Late April/Early May through Late August 2018, excluding July 4, 2018

Job Summary:
The Picnic in the Park Administrative Assistant will assist the Nutrition Services team with the daily operation and administrative tasks related to the Picnic in the Park Summer Feeding Program. The Picnic in the Park Summer Feeding Program provides free meals to children ages 1-18 in 26 meal site locations throughout the Boise-metro area. The Picnic in the Park Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Nutrition Services Coordinator, VISTA Summer Associates, and summer program staff to ensure the safe handling, transport, and service of meals to eligible children at assigned locations in compliance with program regulations through the USDA, The Idaho Foodbank, and the Central District Health Department.
