The Idaho Foodbank and its partner agencies across the state are considered an essential service and vital to providing food.
Our facilities are open, and our volunteers are considered essential personnel.
Please keep your social distancing procedures in place and we are encouraging healthy, low-risk individuals to volunteer.
To serve the rising tide of Idahoans who find themselves without income or access to food The Idaho Foodbank has committed to the following:
- We are increasing food distribution statewide by 30%; food for 2 Million meals each month
- We are working with our network of partners to keep school and community pantries open
- We have transitioned to a prepackaged food box distribution model at our mobile pantries to ensure they remain a safe and reliable method of food access; especially in our rural areas
