All proceeds go directly to the local Idaho Foodbank to help feed the hungry in our community. Frozen turkeys and monetary donations will be accepted through Friday\, November 22nd at the Pocatello Police Department. \nIf you’re interested in making a monetary donation\, those can be dropped off at the Pocatello Police Department as well. Please make checks payable to the “Pocatello FOP Union”\, and any Venmo donations can be sent to the Pocatello Police Department at @Portneuf-Valley-Lodge with a note specifying that it’s for Give the Cops a Bird. \nDon’t miss your chance to “Give the Cops a Bird” and help us help the community! \n

DESCRIPTION:Idaho State University and University of Idaho are teaming up once again to raise funds and food to support fellow Idahoans! \nOn Saturday\, November 23rd\, University of Idaho’s football team will be playing Idaho State University in Pocatello at the ICCU Dome. This friendly rivalry game is the perfect backdrop for a friendly rivalry fundraiser between the two schools. In the week leading up to the game\, as well as during the game that day – both institutions will be accepting monetary and food donations that will go directly to supporting The Idaho Foodbank in helping to address food insecurity in Idaho. Any donations may be dropped off to your nearest Foodbank warehouse\, or to the Alumni offices at both Universities. \nCome join us at the game and show your support for your team by donating to The Idaho Foodbank! This year\, we’re hoping to raise enough funds to provide food for over 18\,000 meals! \n  \nPocatello and Lewiston Foodbank Warehouses\, Idaho State University\, and University of Idaho \n  \nMAKE A DONATION
