SUMMARY:The Great Idaho Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Every year\, CBS Channel 2 hosts the Great Idaho Food Drive. This year\, they’re partnering with KBOI Radio 670 AM\, Albertsons\, Les Schwab\, and Two Men and a Truck to collect food for The Idaho Foodbank! Food donations can be dropped off at collection locations from October 27th – November 13th. On the morning of November 14th\, a parade of Les Schwab trucks will come to The Idaho Foodbank warehouse in Meridian to unload the food collected throughout the drive. \n  \n\n\n\nFood collection barrels are located at the following places: \n\n– All Treasure Valley Les Schwab stores\n– Select Albertsons stores:\n– 1650 W. DESCRIPTION:The Pocatello Police Department has launched its annual “Give the Cops a Bird” turkey drive! All proceeds go directly to the Idaho Foodbank to help feed our neighbors in our community this holiday season. Frozen turkeys and monetary donations will be accepted through noon on Friday\, November 21st at the Pocatello Police Department. \nIf you’re interested in making a monetary donation\, those can be dropped off at the Pocatello Police Department as well. Each year\, the football teams go head to head on the field in a friendly school rivalry game the Saturday before Thanksgiving. But\, off the field\, there’s another friendly rivalry going on – which school can bring in more donations for The Idaho Foodbank! \nThis year\, starting Monday\, November 17th and going through gameday on Saturday\, November 22nd\, help prove once and for all which is the better institution by making a donation on their behalf! Whether you’re a student\, faculty\, alumni\, or a community member\, any and all donations will help provide food to people in need across the state. Plus\, there will be some fun rivalry side bets (announcement coming soon!) that depend on which school wins! \nThroughout the week\, there will be food drop-off locations around both campuses for any physical donation items.
