#IdahoKind Challenge
Inspired by the generosity of Duane and Lori Stueckle, The Idaho Foodbank is kicking off #IdahoKind – the first fundraising and awareness campaign of its type for our organization. The goal of this campaign is to generate 1,000 acts of kindness and raise $200,000 to provide food for up to one million meals.
Challenge Dates:
January 18, 2021 – February 14, 2021
MLK Jr. Day thru Valentine’s Day
What you can do:
Please use #IdahoKind when you share a feel-good story on social media. Our goal is to track kindness by using this hashtag.
- Anyone can participate!
- Encourage your volunteers, staff, donors, and friends to share a story of kindness.
- Kindness is everywhere! Examples: an extra hardworking volunteer, a donation from a family, staff that helped a fellow co-worker, or a helpful neighbor.
Also, the acts of kindness are not limited to The Idaho Foodbank or need to be food-related. Examples: walking an elderly persons dog, paying for the Starbucks order of the car behind you, shoveling snow from neighbors driveway or sending your favorite teacher a thank you note.
