Join us for Scare Away Hunger on Saturday, October 22nd! This is a Family Day of Volunteering at The Idaho Foodbank warehouse in Pocatello. There are one-hour sessions available from 10AM to 2PM for families with children as young as 4 years old to volunteer. Costumes are encouraged and welcome! Space is limited so please call Shaela at 208-233-8811 to sign up.
The Idaho Foodbank recently hosted visitors from the country of Georgia at our facility in Meridian. The visit was organized by Global Ties Idaho as part of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
When students don’t have the nutrition they need it often causes stress and anxiety along with challenges concentrating in class and focusing on learning. For college students lack of food may harm their ability to achieve educational and professional goals.
