Responsible for the implementation and coordination of the USDA Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP); this includes caseload management and outreach for the program in compliance with operating guidelines, rules and regulations of the Idaho Commission on Aging (ICOA), Community Action Partnership of Idaho (CAPAI), and USDA on a statewide basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, eligibility determination, enrollment, re-certification, safe food distribution and handling, distribution tracking, reporting and file maintenance. The Programs Coordinator is also responsible for the recruitment, training, retention and compliance of CSFP and TEFAP distribution partner agencies as well as distribution site development and training of all volunteers and staff managing paperwork.
