What lesson are you most grateful for learning?
Progress is almost always built one small step at a time. Big improvements don’t usually happen overnight—they come from consistently making things a little better every day.
What has been the most impactful part of working at The Idaho Foodbank during your tenure?
Watching the organization grow while knowing I’ve had the opportunity to help build many of the systems and processes that support that growth. It’s incredibly fulfilling to look back over 18 years and see how much we’ve accomplished together.
In your opinion, what is the most important invention in history?
The printing press. Making knowledge widely available changed the course of history and made education and ideas accessible to generations of people.
Do you have a favorite quote?
“Leave things better than you found them.” It’s a simple philosophy that applies to work, relationships, and life.
My favorite way to spend the day is ____________.
Spending quality time with my husband and daughters, working on projects around the house, or getting outside for a walk. I’m happiest when I have a good balance of productivity and family time.
What is your WHY, why do you work at The Idaho Foodbank?
Everyone deserves access to nutritious food. I may work behind the scenes, but I know that every report, process improvement, and system I help build ultimately supports the people serving our neighbors. Being part of that mission gives purpose to the work I do every day.
