During November and December, The Idaho Foodbank’s Hope for the Holidays Campaign promotes efforts across the state to alleviate hunger. We have already had many great events and there are still opportunities to get involved. With the support of the community, The Idaho Foodbank is working to allow everyone, regardless of their current financial situation, to have a holiday meal and nutritious food on the table throughout the season.

On Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity that takes place annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Idahoans came together to support causes close to their hearts. Volunteers across the state shared their “why” this #GivingTuesday, voicing what motivates them to regularly give their time.
Located in Latah County, a beautiful road twists and turns through the hills of North Central Idaho when you are traveling to Juliaetta, Idaho. J-K Good Samaritan Food Bank is one of The Idaho Foodbank’s 465 partners across the state. They offer food to those living in the area with the support of all three churches in their community.
People celebrate holidays in all sorts of ways, but one theme remains: good food!
We believe no one’s bowl should be empty. This year, The Idaho Foodbank hosted online Empty Bowls events in Pocatello and the Treasure Valley. This event gives individuals the chance to purchase a unique, hand painted or handmade bowl, with proceeds benefiting The Idaho Foodbank.
