Celebrating America 250 with Volunteerism
This year is the 250th Anniversary of the existence of the United States of America. One way to celebrate this monumental birthday, is to participate in an act of volunteerism. The America 250 in Idaho Service Challenge invites individuals, families, classrooms, businesses, faith groups, and communities to serve in ways big and small. The goal is to have Idahoans participate in 250,000 Acts of Service to mark the 250th birthday of the United States of America. In our last fiscal year, over 25,000 people volunteered over 71,000 hours with The Idaho Foodbank. We know the power of volunteers – they are vital to our success and the lifeblood of our food distribution partner network across the state.
