911 Day
Join us in Boise on September 11 for the 9/11 Day of Service! Volunteer as Support Staff and help us pack 192,500 meals for those in need.
As we prepare to commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, we are honored to invite Idaho Food Bank to be part of this historic day of service and remembrance. Through this nationwide initiative, more than 50,000 volunteers across 50 cities will come together to pack 20 million meals for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
Public registration opens July 7. While your group may still register after that date, volunteer spots are expected to fill quickly.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Please note that anyone with this link can register, so we ask that you share it only with your intended audience. Volunteers are welcome to register for more than one shift if they wish.

Want to earn free wristbands for the festival and help The Idaho Foodbank? Volunteer as a server for Mountain Home Country Music Festival! For every hour you contribute, MHCMF will donate $10 (equivalent to 50 meals) to The Idaho Foodbank. Volunteers signing up for 12hrs total (one shift 4hrs per day) receive two 3-day general admission wristbands. National French Fry Day - Simplot

Simplot Foods is Hosting their 2nd Annual French Fry Day July 13 from 4PM to 7PM. This event is free and will be held at Celebration Circle at the JUMP (Jack's Urban Meeting Place) on 9th Street and Front St. in downtown Boise next to Simplot headquarters. Simplot's famous fryer will be pumping out up to 2,000 lbs. of fries an hour!
Attendees are encouraged to bring donations to The Idaho Foodbank – anyone who donates $15 or more will receive a commemorative "FryIdaho" t-shirt.
This event is a part of the Twilight Trifecta, which is a kickoff for the 2018 Twilight Criterium. The Chrono Kristin Armstrong Awards Ceremony will be taking place at JUMP at 6 PM.
