An Evening to Make a BIG Impact
Join us for The Idaho Foodbank’s culinary fundraiser—a one-of-a-kind experience combining fun, flavor, and philanthropy to support neighbors facing hunger in East Idaho. This special evening will be filled with unique experiences: enjoy samplers and hors d’oeuvres from local favorites, sip on cocktails and mocktails, and treat yourself to decadent desserts.

Guests can try their luck with raffles and games, while also hearing inspiring stories of impact from the community. Throughout the night, interactive program stations will offer a deeper look at how The Idaho Foodbank nourishes, educates, and advocates to support thriving, food-secure communities across Idaho.

Attire: Come as you are! Dress comfortably, bring your appetite, and get ready to have fun while making a difference.

What: A fun experience in a relaxed setting with raffles, light appetizers and desserts, and information about The Idaho Foodbank's work in East Idaho. This is an event all about coming together as a community to ensure that every Idahoan has A Seat at the Table.

Every sack makes an impact!

Albertsons, Boise State University, and The Idaho Foodbank are teaming up once again for Sacks for Hunger, turning big plays on the field into meals for Idaho families facing hunger.

For every sack by the Boise State Broncos during a home football game, Albertsons will donate $500 to The Idaho Foodbank. That means when the Broncos bring down the opposing quarterback, they’re also helping bring food to Idahoans in need.

2026 Boise State home games:

September 12 – vs. Memphis
September 19 – vs. South Dakota
October 3 – vs. Utah State
October 31 – vs. Texas State
November 14 – vs. Oregon State
November 21 – vs. San Diego State

Round Up to Fight Hunger

This September, your everyday grocery trip can help provide food for Idahoans facing hunger! Throughout Hunger Action Month (September 1–30), customers Fred Meyers and Smith's stores stores can support The Idaho Foodbank by rounding up their purchase at the register or making a $1 or $3 donation.

Every dollar raised through the campaign directly supports our work to provide nutritious food to children, families, seniors, and individuals across Idaho. Your small change can make a big difference in helping our neighbors access the food they need.

Want to get involved? Simply shop at a Fred Meyers or Smith's stores during September and choose to round up your purchase or donate $1 or $3 at checkout. Thank you for helping us build a hunger-free Idaho—one grocery trip at a time!

LCCU is partnering with their members to help kiddos in need with food over the weekend. LCCU is asking for a $10 donation, and they in turn, will match the donation!

West Ada School District and Kendall Auto are once again teaming up to tackle hunger this fall!

Bring canned food to your chosen school on their designated dates. The winning school will receive a grand prize! Watch the school's social media pages for more details.

Donate a box of Cereal on August 14th and Help us reach our goal of 4,000 boxes of Cereal for the Idaho Foodbank!

The McVey Entertainment group hosts a Back To School Radio-thon to promote the Backpack and School Pantry programs in North Central. ZROCK, The River, LC Valley News, KOZE and The Canyon Radio station's DJ's talk from the talking points about Children's hunger and how the programs benefit kids. They ask listeners to check out their FACEBOOK page or deliver donations to the radio station. Last year's goal was $5K and they reached $4560. The community loves to hear about what is going on and how they can make a difference.

Join Molinelli's Jewelers and The Idaho Foodbank for an evening of fun, food, music, and community at their 5th annual Downtown Block Party! We will have Main Street in Pocatello entirely blocked off!
