Boise GreenBike is proud to again sponsor Cranksgiving, a Thanksgiving-themed scavenger hunt on bicycles for a cause. On Saturday, November 17th teams of three to four participants will use their own and Boise GreenBikes to gather a list of items to fill Thanksgiving food boxes. The food items are donated to St. Vincent de Paul for distribution to families in need throughout the Treasure Valley. Last year the event provided Thanksgiving food boxes for 36 families.

This holiday season, Wells Fargo is turning all its branches into Wells Fargo "Food Banks". Wells Fargo is donating $4 million to Feeding America and matching every dollar donated up to $1 million to Feeding America from November 13 – December 31, 2018. That's a total of $5 million+ to help fight hunger! 100% of consumer donations will benefit their local food banks (based on zip code) and can be made at Wells Fargo ATMs and via an online Feeding America online donation page.

Since 2010, Stinker Stores help solve hunger in Idaho with annual holiday campaign. Stinker Stores from Moscow to Boise to Idaho Falls will take part in this year’s “Stomp Out Hunger”, an effort to provide as much help to families in need as possible this holiday season.

From November 9th to the 19th Each store in Idaho will be giving customers a chance at the register to add to their purchase with a donation to The Idaho Foodbank. Just $1 can help provide the food for 5 meals for hungry Idahoans. Stores will be competing to raise the most funds, with a celebration of the final gift coming at the end of the month.

This year, Stinker Stores has set a goal of raising $56,000 through store gifts and donations. The company has also pledged to, once again, match $1.00 up to the first $25,000 of those donations. In 2017, customers of Stinker Stores donated more than $56,771 and the company added another $25,000. The result was a record of $81,771.

For every bottle of wine from EJ Gallo, Kendall Jackson, Constellation, and/or Deutsch these companies will donate $.25 to The Idaho Foodbank up to $7,500. This is a statewide campaign at all Albertsons stores in Idaho.

To celebrate World Sandwich Day, Subway will be running a digital campaign! All sandwiches will be "heroes" for the week, and the campaign slogan will be "Buy a Hero, Be a Hero". For every online order or order placed via Subway's mobile app, Subway will donate the equivalent of one meal to Feeding America. No restrictions apply, all online orders are applicable. 75% of all funds will be distributed to the local food banks where Subway restaurants are located.

From the November 1st through November 30th Boise Brewing will be donating $1 of every pint sold from a special batch (Mango Syringa Pale Ale) to The Idaho Foodbank, when that keg is done it will be a pilsner. Note: The $1 donation will only be applicable for one tap handle (beer specially made for the BB Involved program).

Cranksgiving is an event that Barrie's Ski and Sports puts on annually. ICCU is teaming up with Barrie's and has donated $2500 to help with the purchase of turkeys. Their goal is to collect 1000 turkeys. Turkeys and/or monetary donations can be dropped off at any ICCU branch in Pocatello and Chubbuck, Barrie's Ski and Sports or the Idaho Foodbank. On 11/17 at 10:00am Barrie and all others who wish to participate will be riding their bikes from Barrie's store to the Idaho Foodbank to deliver the remainder of the turkeys they have on hand. The turkeys will be counted and weighed then loaded up on the truck and taken directly to the fairgrounds to be handed out during the Thanksgiving Food box distribution starting at 12:30pm

First Tech Federal Credit Union located on HP campus is hosting Season of Giving Campaign for their members only. Through out the month of November, First Tech Fed members vote for their favorite nonprofit. The Idaho Foodbank has an opportunity to receive $1,000, enough food for 5,000 meals this holiday season.
