The McVey Entertainment group hosts a Back To School Radio-thon to promote the Backpack and School Pantry programs in North Central. ZROCK, The River, LC Valley News, KOZE and The Canyon Radio station’s DJ’s talk from the talking points about Children’s hunger and how the programs benefit kids. They ask listeners to check out their FACEBOOK page or deliver donations to the radio station. Last year’s goal was $5K and they reached $4560. The community loves to hear about what is going on and how they can make a difference.
