Cooking Healthy On a Budget – Lewiston
This class will take place in the Lewiston IFB teaching kitchen. Participants will gain budgeting and menu planning skills in order to prepare healthy meals at home. We will prepare a low cost healthy meal to share and participants will go home with recipes to enjoy. Space is limited so register early. Daisy’s Madhouse Theatre announces “Will Act 4 Food,” a short-play festival to benefit The Idaho Foodbank. This annual event, now in its 8th year, will be held on Saturday, January 28th at 7:30 p.m. at the Boise Little Theater (map here). In 2016, "Will Act 4 Food" raised $4,000 for the statewide hunger-relief organization.
The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is Thursday, December 22 at Albertsons Stadium with U of I Vandals vs. Colorado State Rams. Parking lot opens at 1pm game starts at 5pm. A bowling event sponsored by Albertsons between the teams that benefits The Idaho Foodbank is scheduled for Monday , December 19 starting at 5:30 PM at Wahooz PINZ in Meridian.
Messiah Sing-In Community Event

The annual Hallelujah Chorus in association with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is hosting a Messiah Sign-in live musical event. The show begins at 7:00pm on Sunday December 18th at the Stephens Performing Arts Center in Pocatello. Admission is free, however, canned goods and cash will be collected for the Idaho Foodbank.
