Cranksgiving

It’s that turkey time of the year again! Come join Barrie’s Ski & Sports for their 17th annual Cranksgiving turkey drive and bike parade. To meet the increased need for assistance in Bannock county, we are asking for your support to help us gather turkeys to be distributed at the Bannock County Thanksgiving food distribution. Turkeys and monetary donations can be dropped off at Barrie’s Ski & Sports, or the Idaho Foodbank. All donations will need to be made by 12:00pm November 22nd.

Whether you’re able to donate or just want to join in on the fun, grab your bike (and a turkey if you can) and meet us at 10:00am at Barrie’s Ski and Sports on Saturday, November 23rd as we peddle all these precious proteins to the Foodbank warehouse.

For more information about how to get involved, contact Kyle Peck in the Pocatello office at 208-869-0255.

MOO Bucks

Sponsored by:Albertsons

People can donate “Moo Bucks” at Albertsons checkouts June 1-15. While it’s easy for people to donate canned and dry goods, fresh milk is much harder to donate because it’s perishable. Thus, even though food pantries report milk is one of the most requested items, it’s difficult for them to meet the demand. A donation to Moo Bucks help The Idaho Foodbank purchase and distribute dairy foods to clients and give them vouchers to redeem for milk.
