Million Meals in March 2019

Sponsored by:The Idaho Foodbank

The Idaho Foodbank is celebrating National Nutrition Month with a special campaign – Million Meals in March, to raise awareness and funds after the holiday season.

The “Million Meals in March” campaign, is a statewide effort with a goal of collecting the food and funds for 1,000,000 meals in the month. The Foodbank distributes food for more than 1,000,000 meals every month, yet the spring is typically a time when food and fund donations drop off. This hinders the Foodbank’s efforts to reach the 1 in 8 Idahoans in need.

Presenting sponsor Southern Idaho Honda Dealers is helping the Idaho Foodbank reach this goal by offering a $20,000 match. Every dollar donated to The Idaho Foodbank can provide five meals, when doubled with individual donations these funds will provide food for 200,000 meals.

Boise Co-op downtown's First Friday March 1, is donating 3% of sales to The Idaho Foodbank's Million Meals in March campaign.

On March 23, celebrating the 10th anniversary, Daisy Madhouse Theater is donating the ticket proceeds from Will Act 4 Food held at Boise Little Theater at starts at 7:30 pm

Every Tuesday in March, Pebble Creek Ski resort, is offering $30 lift tickets when you bring in 3 can goods.
