The Idaho Foodbank, Nutrition Education Specialist, will be hosting a class about the importance of fruits and vegetables in your diet. Participants will complete fun activities and prepare a low-cost healthy meal. Participants will go home with great recipes to share.

This class will be appropriate for people aged 18 and older.

The class will focus on knife skills, nutrition, and food preparation. Participants will learn to work with kitchen tools properly, the nutritional importance of fruits and vegetables in our diets and lastly, the class will prepare some healthy food following a recipe.
