Maverik Round Up Your Change
At Maverik, we believe everyone deserves access to the food and resources they need to thrive. That’s why we’re partnering with Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, to help neighbors experiencing food insecurity in local communities where we operate. We’re also making it easier for our customers to chip in.
When you visit any Maverik between October 22 and December 3, you’ll have the option to round up your cash or credit transaction to the nearest dollar, or more. That donation will go to help people across local Feeding America partner food banks. In Idaho, this means that your donation will support the work of The Idaho Foodbank.
We look forward to serving you and – with your help – supporting neighbors who are working hard to bring meals home.

Beef Night on the Ice

Beef Night on the Ice is a night to celebrate the Beef Counts program while enjoying a Steelheads hockey game! $1.00 from every general ticket sale will be donated to the Beef Counts campaign. Raffle tickets will be sold for a Traeger Grill and a year of beef that the Idaho Beef Council is providing.
Will Act 4 Food

Daisy’s Madhouse Theatre announces “Will Act 4 Food,” a short-play festival to benefit The Idaho Foodbank. This annual event, now in its 8th year, will be held on Saturday, January 28th at 7:30 p.m. at the Boise Little Theater (map here). In 2016, "Will Act 4 Food" raised $4,000 for the statewide hunger-relief organization.
The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is Thursday, December 22 at Albertsons Stadium with U of I Vandals vs. Colorado State Rams. Parking lot opens at 1pm game starts at 5pm. A bowling event sponsored by Albertsons between the teams that benefits The Idaho Foodbank is scheduled for Monday , December 19 starting at 5:30 PM at Wahooz PINZ in Meridian.
Messiah Sing-In Community Event

The annual Hallelujah Chorus in association with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is hosting a Messiah Sign-in live musical event. The show begins at 7:00pm on Sunday December 18th at the Stephens Performing Arts Center in Pocatello. Admission is free, however, canned goods and cash will be collected for the Idaho Foodbank.
Drive Away Hunger

Friday, December 16th, “Drive Away Hunger” in partnership with Cole Chevrolet in Pocatello and Smith Chevrolet in Idaho Falls will be happening at local Fred Meyer stores in both Pocatello and Idaho Falls locations. From 4 to 7p, near the front doors of both stores, there will be a Chevy pickup. Participants will be able to leave food donations in the truck, so we can “fill the truck.” All the food goes to the Idaho Foodbank.
