Les Schwab locations in Lewiston, Moscow, Grangeville, and Orofino will ask customers to round up at the register to fill the plates of neighbors.

CBS2 is partnering with KBOI, Two Men & A Truck, TDS Fiber, and Les Schwab Tire Center to host their annual Great Idaho Food Drive. Stop by any Treasure Valley Les Schwab Tire Center location, or the CBS2 office in downtown Boise to drop off non-perishable food items between November 14th and December 9th. You can also support this event with monetary donations through their fund drive page to help reach their goal of $2,500.

The University of Idaho vs Idaho State University annually competes to raise funds and fill their community and campus pantries. This event directly affects those who are food insecure in the community and on the campus. Funds will go to the Idaho Foodbank.

Scouting for Food is one of Idaho’s largest annual food drives hosted by Boy Scouts of America. This year’s event is a collaboration with Just Serve. Volunteers across the Treasure, Magic, and Wood River Valley will pick up bags of food from designated neighborhoods, as well as staff several drop off locations to collect food.

Since 2010, Stinker Stores have helped solve hunger in Idaho with their annual holiday campaign. Stinker Stores from Moscow to Boise to Idaho Falls will take part in this year's "Stomp Out Hunger", an effort to provide help to families in need this holiday season. From November 11th to November 21st, each Stinker Store in Idaho will be giving customers a chance at the register to add to their purchase with a donation to The Idaho Food Bank. Artimis Light is an artist who wants to give back through his art. For every card you purchase, $1 will be donated, for every print you purchase, $9 will be donated, and with every original painting you purchase, $25 will be donated to The Idaho Foodbank.

Every time a customer uses their TJX rewards credit card to make a donation, Synchrony will match up to $100,000 of contributions. The Idaho Foodbank will receive 100% of funds raised at the register in Idaho stores.

“Pack the Plane” food drive campaign to help those in the communities that we live in. When you help pack the planes, you are helping your local food bank deliver programs to the front line of hunger.

While it may sound like we're physically packing cargo planes, that isn't actually the case -- Alaska Airlines virtually packing planes. The amount of cargo planes we "pack" is based on overall space and weight load capacity of a Boeing 737-400 freighter aircraft.

When Alaska first started the holiday food drive in 2009, the idea was to fill an entire virtual plane based on the weight of food and what a plane could hold space-wise. This effort grew over time to eventually include partnerships with local food banks as well as online donations. Thanks to your recent generosity, over the past six years Alaska Airlines raised nearly $765,000 and donated more than 47,000 pounds of canned goods to food banks across the country.

Last year, during our 13th annual "Pack the Plane" food drive, Alaska and Horizon employees packed the equivalent of more than 42 cargo planes. Working together, Alaska Airlines raised more than $214,000 in financial donations and collected 3,400 pounds of canned goods for local food banks, providing almost one million meals to those facing food insecurities in the midst of a global pandemic.

For The Idaho Foodbank, Alaska Airlines has a goal to raise $5,000 and gather food.
