Boy Scouts will be picking up food at residences and dropping it off in various locations (site list attached below). The Idaho Foodbank is one of the bigger sites to receive food and food is coming to the warehouse directly instead of the Boy Scout Office as in previous years.

Empty Bowls is grass roots movement by local artists to help end hunger in their
own communities. The idea is very simple. In cooperation with the Pocatello
Arts Council, ISU Clay Club and the Idaho Food Bank, local ceramic artists will
create bowls for the event, while local restaurants and grocers donate soup and
bread for a simple dinner. Tickets to the event are a $20. donation. Each donor
will choose their own handmade bowl and enjoy a variety of soups and bread.
Live music and a cash bar will round out the event. All proceeds support the
Idaho Food Bank to help end hunger here in our local community.
This will be our third empty bowls event here in Pocatello, and we are looking
forward to our most successful event to date. This year local ceramic artists will
make 200 bowls, and local musicians will provide a live performance for the
event.

CBS2 is hosting the Great Idaho Food Drive along with their partners 670 KBOI, Les Schwab Tire Center, and TDS Fiber. From November 11 – December 17, stop by any Treasure Valley Les Schwab Tire Center location, or the CBS2 office in downtown Boise to drop off non-perishable food items. You can also support monetarily, as $1 can provide food for 4 meals!

Join Dutch Bros in helping The Idaho Foodbank by visiting the Orchard St. location on Monday, November 8. $1 from every drink sold will be donated to The Idaho Foodbank to help nourish neighbors who are facing food insecurity.

Annual TJ MAXX 'Giving to the Idaho Foodbank' Campaign! Customers have the opportunity at the registers to donate to help with the Mission of the Idaho Foodbank. Three days to participate- November 5, 6 and 7th. A weekend of giving at the local Idaho TJ's to provide food for neighbors in need.

This challenge asks members of the community to bring in frozen turkeys or monetary donations that will all go directly to the Idaho Food Bank

Last year the members of the Department collected 250 turkeys and brought in $10,000 for the cause, crushing the previous years’ donations of $3,500.

Turkeys and monetary donations will be accepted through Friday, November 19th at the Pocatello Police Department.

- Les Schwab Branches will host a FUND drive to support holiday meals in the North Central Region. Friendly competition between stores to raise the most funds for bragging rights. Les Schwab employees are making an impact for the holidays in our community.

We partner with local food banks who distribute the hams to 700 families each year. By donating, you will be able to help make this holiday season a little brighter (and yummier!) for local families! This year our goal is to raise as much money as possible.

Come help us celebrate the opening of our new location - 2002 W Karcher Rd in Nampa! We will have a Trunk-or-Treat for kids, a raffle, and a car show, with proceeds going to The Idaho Foodbank.

The Idaho Foodbank is asking for help from local businesses and organizations. We need to collect enough food to fill the Bannock County Thanksgiving food boxes that will be distributed November 20th. To make this happen, we are encouraging local businesses to participate in this fun challenge. Participating businesses will be tasked with providing roughly 500 cans of a specified food item; such as 500 cans of corn or 500 cans of green beans etc. (The number may vary depending on the food item.) Points are collected based off of different activity. The business with the most points at the end of the challenge wins. This win will come with bragging rights for the year and THE TROPHY, as well as lunch and dessert delivered to their location by October 29th. More importantly, you will feel satisfied knowing that your contribution will be able to ease the unfortunate burden of a family who has fallen on rough times.
