This is the 16th year of 7Cares Idaho Shares.

7Cares Idaho Shares is an annual day of giving that takes place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10th. Donations of both food and cash can be taken at all locations.

KTVB will be asking for financial donations from Nov 29 – Dec 10th every day during three news broadcasts (morning, noon, evening). If a donor makes an online donation on KTVB’s Mighty Cause webpage (https://www.mightycause.com/story/7caresidahoshares), volunteers will enter their names to scroll during the broadcasts.

All donations of cash (handled by Loomis) and non-perishable food items will go to help these charities keep their shelves fully stocked and purses full during the winter months when the need for food, shelter, and aid increases. The donations will benefit The Idaho Foodbank, Boise Rescue Mission, and The Salvation Army of Ada County, Caldwell, Nampa, and Twin Falls.

KTVB will broadcast the event with live reports at several Albertsons and Fred Meyer locations as well as the BSU Stadium on Idaho's Newschannel 7, online at KTVB.COM, and in the KTVB app.

The Spurwing Ladies Golf Association is hosting their annual Christmas Party in which members have the option to donate to a chosen cause. The Idaho Foodbank has been chosen this year to receive those donations.

Idaho Central Credit Union and Boise State University ESports are proud to present the Giving Games. Gamers compete but the ultimate winners are neighbors facing hunger who will receive nutritious food for meals thanks to contestant and spectator support. For every $1 donated The Idaho Foodbank can provide food for up to 4 meals!

Mark your calendar for December 3rd, because the Santa Fun Run is happening at the Twin Falls Visitors Center at the Perrine Bridge. Get into the Holiday spirit, come dressed as Santa Claus (or not) to run or walk (1 mile or 5k). A donation is suggested to participate with all donations benefitting The Idaho Foodbank. To pre-register, call 801-750-5030, or arrive at 9:00 AM on race day to sign-up.

The Pocatello Art's Council along with the ISU Arts department are excited to hold its 4 Annual Pocatello Empty Bowls event Friday, December 2nd, 2022. This event benefiting the Idaho Foodbank, will be held at Westside Players Warehouse.

Beautiful handmade bowls will be there for you to choose from. Along with the purchase of a bowl, you will be able to enjoy your choice of soups, locally made bread, and beverages for dinner. Westside Players will also be selling adult beverages if you're so inclined.

Entertainment will also be provided by local musicians. We will also have the pleasure of providing awards to Pocatello artists recognizing them and their talent.

McVey Entertainment- Holiday Heroes gives the community an opportunity to donate funds/food and volunteer to help put together food boxes for a food distribution in Lewiston. This campaign is a multi-day in person and a month long online fund drive event. The purpose is to raise enough money at the registers at Rosauers and online to purchase food bags for holiday meals. These food bags/boxes will be distributed at the fair building the week of Christmas.

Help Idaho Pizza Company take a 'slice' out of hunger! All December-long, enjoy deals for bringing in cans of food for The Idaho Foodbank! Bring in three (3) cans of non-perishable food to take part in the following deals: $4.00 off any large pizza, $3.00 off any medium pizza, and $2.00 off any small pizza (cannot be combined with other offers).

Shoppers can give back in two ways this holiday season through Whole Foods Market’s Shop Local, Give Local campaign. You can purchase any local product and Whole Foods Market will match 100% of the proceeds. You can also donate at the register during check out. 90% of funds given in Idaho will support The Idaho Foodbank with 10% supporting Feeding America.
