Will you join our efforts today to deliver hope for the holidays?
#GivingTuesday is a national day of generosity, a day when you have the opportunity to positively impact neighbors who may not know where their next meal is coming from, providing both sustenance and peace of mind.

With your help, The Idaho Foodbank will be able to provide nutritious meals to Idahoans experiencing food insecurity. The need is great, as we are currently serving an average of 182,500 people monthly through 465+ partners across the state. Eliminating the obstacle of obtaining food during this difficult time will enable families to focus on recovery. More than a meal, your gift may provide the stretch needed to a family grocery budget that allows them to fund other necessities like rent and medical expenses.

At The Idaho Foodbank we are able to turn a $1 donation into the food for up to 4 meals. Corwin Ford has generously offered to match every donation made during November dollar for dollar, up to $30,000!
Today $1 donation = food for 8 meals thanks to Corwin Ford!

Here are a few simple ways you can join us:
• Consider making a gift this #GivingTuesday
• Volunteer with us
• Become a fundraiser
• Help us get the word out on social media by sharing, tagging and liking our posts
• Share photos on your social platform about what The Idaho Foodbank means to you
• Do something kind for another person, help a neighbor in need!

Scouting for Food

Sponsored by:Mountain West Boy Scout Council

Boy Scouts will be picking up food at residences and dropping it off in various locations (site list attached below). The Idaho Foodbank is one of the bigger sites to receive food and food is coming to the warehouse directly instead of the Boy Scout Office as in previous years.

Pocatello Empty Bowls

Sponsored by:Pocatello Arts Council

Empty Bowls is grass roots movement by local artists to help end hunger in their
own communities. The idea is very simple. In cooperation with the Pocatello
Arts Council, ISU Clay Club and the Idaho Food Bank, local ceramic artists will
create bowls for the event, while local restaurants and grocers donate soup and
bread for a simple dinner. Tickets to the event are a $20. donation. Each donor
will choose their own handmade bowl and enjoy a variety of soups and bread.
Live music and a cash bar will round out the event. All proceeds support the
Idaho Food Bank to help end hunger here in our local community.
This will be our third empty bowls event here in Pocatello, and we are looking
forward to our most successful event to date. This year local ceramic artists will
make 200 bowls, and local musicians will provide a live performance for the
event.
