Tackling Hunger
Join Idaho State University and University of Idaho in supporting The Idaho Foodbank’s vision of a Hunger-Free Idaho! Each year, the football teams go head to head on the field in a friendly school rivalry game the Saturday before Thanksgiving. But, off the field, there’s another friendly rivalry going on – which school can bring in more donations for The Idaho Foodbank!
This year, starting Monday, November 17th and going through gameday on Saturday, November 22nd, help prove once and for all which is the better institution by making a donation on their behalf! Whether you’re a student, faculty, alumni, or a community member, any and all donations will help provide food to people in need across the state. Plus, there will be some fun rivalry side bets (announcement coming soon!) that depend on which school wins!
Throughout the week, there will be food drop-off locations around both campuses for any physical donation items. And for monetary donations, just pick your school on this page before making a donation!

Hymns of Thanksgiving

Hymns of Thanksgiving is back in person this year! Enjoy a concert of hymns and other beautiful arrangements put on by local musicians and singers. This concert is totally free and no ticket is required. At the venue entrances and exits, guests will be encouraged to make cash donations to The Idaho Foodbank.

CBS2's Great Idaho Food Drive

CBS2 is partnering with KBOI, Two Men & A Truck, TDS Fiber, and Les Schwab Tire Center to host their annual Great Idaho Food Drive. Stop by any Treasure Valley Les Schwab Tire Center location, or the CBS2 office in downtown Boise to drop off non-perishable food items between November 14th and December 9th. You can also support this event with monetary donations through their fund drive page to help reach their goal of $2,500.

Scouting for Food

Scouting for Food is one of Idaho’s largest annual food drives hosted by Boy Scouts of America. This year’s event is a collaboration with Just Serve. Volunteers across the Treasure, Magic, and Wood River Valley will pick up bags of food from designated neighborhoods, as well as staff several drop off locations to collect food.
Stomp Out Hunger

Since 2010, Stinker Stores have helped solve hunger in Idaho with their annual holiday campaign. Stinker Stores from Moscow to Boise to Idaho Falls will take part in this year's "Stomp Out Hunger", an effort to provide help to families in need this holiday season. From November 11th to November 21st, each Stinker Store in Idaho will be giving customers a chance at the register to add to their purchase with a donation to The Idaho Food Bank.
