Tackling Hunger
Join Idaho State University and University of Idaho in supporting The Idaho Foodbank’s vision of a Hunger-Free Idaho! Each year, the football teams go head to head on the field in a friendly school rivalry game the Saturday before Thanksgiving. But, off the field, there’s another friendly rivalry going on – which school can bring in more donations for The Idaho Foodbank!
This year, starting Monday, November 17th and going through gameday on Saturday, November 22nd, help prove once and for all which is the better institution by making a donation on their behalf! Whether you’re a student, faculty, alumni, or a community member, any and all donations will help provide food to people in need across the state. Plus, there will be some fun rivalry side bets (announcement coming soon!) that depend on which school wins!
Throughout the week, there will be food drop-off locations around both campuses for any physical donation items. And for monetary donations, just pick your school on this page before making a donation!

Tater Dash Mud Run

Twin Oaks Farms in Eagle Idaho presents the 4th annual TATER DASH MUD RUN, an event of epic
proportions, deemed as the best mud run in Idaho and the Northwest. Locally owned , constructed,
and operated, THE TATER DASH MUD RUN is a 5.2 mile obstacle course on 180 acres of prime farmland featuring more mud, more obstacles, and more fun!
Through agritourism Twin Oaks Farms generates the necessary income to sustain the farm, preserve
its natural wildlife refuge, unite community and benefit charities. With this vision the TATER DASH
MUD RUN was created. This year’s a percent of the registration fees will go to The Idaho Foodbank our charity of choice. Please bring a donation of non perishable food or a cash donation to the event.

Your small $5.00 donation for parking will help feed 20 Idahoans. Every
dollar is 4 meals. So, your $5.00 donation for parking will provide the food for 20 meals.
High Desert Harley Helps!

Desert Eagles Open House and Paintball Shoot

This is the annual Open House for the Desert Eagles model airplane club. This year, for the first time we will have paintball equipment which may be used (for donation) to shoot at special ruggedized RC model targets that will be flown by club members, past the firing line. Also will be demonstration flying by our own members of RC helicopters, gliders, aerobatic models, large gas models, and electric models of all types. "Buddy Box" setups will be available for interested newcomers to try their hand at flying an RC plane.

On June 24 and 25 City of Trees Real Estate is celebrating their 4th annual Thanksgiving in June event at Rosauer's in Meridian. The goals is to fill the City of Trees Real Estate moving trucks as many times as possible over the two-day event to raise 5,000 lbs. of food and $5,000 for The Idaho Foodbank. For $10, Rosauer's will offer customers a Fill-A-Bag of pre-selected food contribute to the food drive.
