Staff Spotlight – Morgan Wilson – Chief Development Officer – Lewiston

Before working at The Idaho Foodbank, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

I did an event planning internship with a major Seattle firm during the end of college that focused on corporate conferences and crazy executive trips – I had to create interactive pitches on why a company should trust us to send their top 30 executives on a five day yacht trip…learned a lot.

If you could switch your job with anyone else within The Idaho Foodbank, whose job would you want and why?

One of our volunteer coordinators – they are active all day, meet tons of people, get be hands-on with our mission AND always have fun stories!

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Go big – there are always reasons not to do something but what if the impact of doing it is just bigger.

What game show do you think you have the best chance of winning?

I don’t know that I would win but I would love to do the Amazing Race – as long as my partner will eat the gross stuff

What is on your bucket list?

I would really love to go to Africa

What is your WHY, why do you work at The Idaho Foodbank?

To help people live a healthier, less stressful, and hopefully happier life. My aim is to make the difference I can now but to also encourage my kids to be active community members throughout their lives.
