Court Referred Volunteers

Guidelines & Hours

All court referred volunteers must be approved by an employee of The Idaho Foodbank

The Idaho Foodbank (IFB) Court Referred Volunteer Requirements

IFB accepts volunteers convicted of the following offenses:

  • Traffic violations
  • Driving while impaired
  • Drug charges
  • Non-violent misdemeanors
  • Theft-related misdemeanors

IFB does not accept applicants that have ever been convicted of the following:

  • Violent crime of any type (including battery and assault)
  • Theft-related felony
  • Crime of a sexual nature

You will be required to adhere to all food and workplace safety guidelines.

The Idaho Foodbank reserves the right to refuse volunteer time with no notice given.

Steps to complete court referred community service hours

Step 1. Please review qualifications to this program above.

Step 2. Complete and submit the application below.

Step 3. An Idaho Foodbank Team Member will notify you of your application status (typically within 3-4 business days) by email and detail the next steps.

All applicants are vetted to verify the complete charge history of the applicant to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and volunteers. A complete charge history is obtained which would include any and all charges of the applicant over time including those listed on the application.

All applicants are required to adhere to all food and workplace safety requirements.
