Volunteer Appreciation Month
April was Volunteer Appreciation Month and we are so grateful for the support we received from our amazing volunteers.
Gene is one of our longest-tenured volunteers and he racked up nearly 600 hours at the Foodbank in 2017. He is an inspiration to everyone here and we truly appreciate his commitment to helping solve hunger.
We wouldn’t be able to feed hungry Idahoans without the work of volunteers. In fact, their work hours equate to 26 full-time employees at the Foodbank. That allows us to focus on offering great programs like School Pantry and Cooking Matters while continuing to help solve hunger in Idaho.
