Giving Back on the Palouse
The Idaho Foodbank was excited to have worked with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) and their employees during their annual campaign supporting individuals and families struggling with hunger in their local communities. During the months of March and April, all SEL office locations are encouraged to host their own local, hunger-relief employee giving program.
In Lewiston, as well as Pullman, Washington, the employees challenged each other with food drives, online fundraisers, and volunteer activities. Each location had fun and generated thousands of pounds of food, hundreds of dollars, and many volunteer hours supporting The Idaho Foodbank. The local impact is making a difference in North Central Idaho and the Palouse where our neighbors are facing food insecurity.
Thank you to SEL and their employees for choosing to participate in hunger-relief and the awareness of its impact on our communities!
