Joe Hall Helps Provide Cereal To NC Idaho Kids
Joe Hall, owner of Joe Hall Ford Lincoln in Lewiston, continues to out-do himself each year with his Cereal and Peanut Butter Drive at Rosauer’s in Lewiston.
The fifth edition of the event beat last year’s totals, with 1,770 pounds of cereal and 1,071 pounds of peanut butter being donated to serve north central Idaho’s children. This makes 2017 another banner year for the campaign, pairing the community with the capability of serving Idaho’s kids in need.
Empty school playgrounds, classrooms and hallways signal the official start of summer. Unfortunately for the 76,000 food-insecure kids in Idaho, this means the absence of free and reduced-price lunches as well. For families who rely on this program during the school year, summer can be a time of added burden and uncertainty.
Thanks to Joe Hall, some of these children will have the food they need to get by.
