Meet Shanna Decker – North Central Branch Manager!
Shanna Decker is the new Branch Manager at our North Central location! Shanna is originally from Lewiston, ID. She moved to the South and then lived in the Midwest for 23 years. Shanna spent nine years teaching middle and high school English in a small rural school before moving back to Lewiston in 2016. Upon moving back to Idaho, she worked as a teacher with the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections.
Shanna has what she describes as “three unruly dogs who are spoiled rotten and keep me on my toes”. She is an avid mineral and rock collector and hope to start doing some rock hounding this year. Shanna has shared that she enjoyed spending over 20 years in a career where she made an impact every day, so it was important for her to find a position with an organization where she could continue to serve.
Both Mike Wigen and Ken Jensen are still with The Idaho Foodbank in different roles and are working closely with Shanna as she takes on this new Branch Manager role. Shanna is looking forward to learning more and working together with our partner network and all of the communities in the North Central region.
