Middle Schooler Collects Over 1,500 Pounds of Food for The Foodbank

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Mason, a student at Victory Middle School in Boise, delivered 1,527 pounds of food to The Idaho Foodbank. Mason started this food drive as a class project. Over the weekend, he collected much-needed food items from generous customers at Albertson’s Marketplace. Mason’s commitment to helping others reminds us of the values Martin Luther King Jr. stood for. We are incredibly impressed with Mason’s example of leadership and dedication to service, and we are also grateful for the community’s support.
