Million Meals in March Wrap-up

This year was The Idaho Foodbank’s 7th annual Million Meals in March Corporate Challenge. We had a total of 9 companies in Southwest Idaho participate in the challenge by raising funds, hosting food drives, and volunteering for The Idaho Foodbank. Thank you to Million Meals in March presenting sponsor, Southern Idaho Honda Dealers!  

We appreciate ZGA, Boise Hawks, The Land Group, KPFF, HCCo, AmeriBen, Commercial Tire, TOK, and Colliers for participating! We are grateful for their support to help their neighbors who are facing food insecurity. Congratulations to Colliers for winning this year’s Million Meals in March Corporate Challenge! 

In addition to raising enough funds to provide food for 180,000 meals, these companies donated over 5,000 pounds of food and over 130 volunteer hours. These teams also got creative with some fun can structures of the non-perishable food items they donated. 

Jim Shipman with Colliers said this about the Million Meals in March Corporate Challenge: “I think it is a great opportunity to not just ‘write a check’ but to get everyone involved.”
