North Central Regional Director

Hy’D Andrews has been promoted to North Central Regional Director at The Idaho Foodbank. She was most recently the Development Coordinator in North Central Idaho and works from The Idaho Foodbank’s location in Lewiston, Idaho.  

Randy Ford, President and CEO said, “Hy’D brings a collaborative leadership style, genuine commitment to helping communities and individuals, and strategic focus that aligns perfectly with our organizational goals. We’re excited for Hy’D to continue strengthening community relationships, advancing community-based solutions, and guiding this incredible team toward even greater regional impact.”

Hy’D came to the organization with experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, and management. Hy’D is very engaged in the community, including her role as an Advisory Board Member with the Clearwater Economic Development Association and as a member of the Hospitality Technical Advisory Committee at LC State College. Her professional experience includes time with Costco Wholesale and the Northwest Children’s Home, Inc. Hy’D has obtained specialized fundraising Certifications at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. She is also a Steering Committee Member of the 100+ Women Who Care of the Confluence.  

Hy’D has been married to her best friend Brian for 28 years. They have two children, Kylee and Jaren, and a son-in-law, Ethan. Hy’D loves spending time outdoors and enjoying her two sets of twin grandbabies. 

Regional Director is a new position at The Idaho Foodbank to reflect the organization’s broader commitment to strengthening statewide collaboration, providing increased support to the region, and being able to meet the growing and complex needs of the communities we serve.
