Paint a Bowl for Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls Wide Shot

On November 29, the Friday after Thanksgiving, The Idaho Foodbank will be hosting its annual Empty Bowls event in downtown Boise on the Grove Plaza

Throughout the year, we collect handcrafted and hand-painted bowls from professional and amateur artisans, students and studios. The event offers the opportunity to select a unique bowl from thousands and enjoy a hot bowl of soup generously donated by one of several of our finest local restaurants. Learn more.

We need bowls!

Visit any of our partners below and tell them you would like to paint a bowl for Empty Bowls. Bowls vary in price and each one donated to our event could help provide food for 50 meals to help serve hungry Idahoans. Schedule a bowl making party with your friends! For groups of 5 or more, please call ahead and make a reservation.
