Partner Highlight – HUB 365 Community Center
Community Development, Inc., Cloverdale Seventh-day Adventist Church, and United Way have opened their new HUB 365 Community Center Building in Boise to the public. This accomplishment comes after a lot of planning and hard work!
The HUB 365 is an all-volunteer service organization and they want to continue doing more for the community. The new building holds their food pantry, a thrift shop, and a kitchen with a meeting space. This new location allowed them to expand their food pantry space so that they are able to help more people. The HUB 365 Community Center is now able to be open every Saturday (if there is a 5th Saturday in a given month, they will not be open that day).
The HUB 365 Community Center strives to treat everyone who walks through the doors as family and friends. They want people to feel comfortable when they come into the food pantry. They have set up their food pantry in a way that would allow their neighbors to have a positive shopping experience by having them walk through the pantry and choose from a great selection of food. The HUB 365 wants to continue doing even more in their community and will keep working to add additional services and partnerships for those who are struggling to make ends meet. Congratulations on the successful collaboration to open this community center building!
