Partner Highlight: Lewis Clark State College (LCSC) Pantry
For college students, lack of food may harm their ability to achieve educational and professional goals. Lewis Clark State College (LCSC) in Lewiston is home to the Warrior Pantry, which was founded to serve college students who experience hunger. The LCSC Warrior Pantry was opened in the spring of 2018, serving around 25 people per month. The pantry has now grown to serve 300 students, staff, and local community members. During their new student welcome fair, The Idaho Foodbank Team had the opportunity to visit their new pantry site in the library, complete with a new fridge that was funded through a grant from Dairy West. We are so grateful to have the LCSC Warrior Pantry as part of our partner network that is serving Idahoans in need.
