The Idaho Foodbank recently had the opportunity to tour the food pantry at Donnelly Bible Church in Valley County. What an impressive sight! Allison Hatzenbuhler and her fellow volunteers have created a layout for their pantry that mimics a grocery store. They have done this while still allowing for the ebb and flow of the different foods they receive from the community and The Idaho Foodbank.
The pantry layout helps highlight healthy foods and includes recipes to help households use new or different items. The pantry also includes a hygiene section with shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, diapers, razors and more to help families. We appreciate the innovative and creative work of the Donnelly Bible Church and all our partners across the state!
