Partners Respond to Emergency
This summer, throughout Idaho, multiple fires have threatened our safety and quality of life. On July 24th, lightning started a large fire in the North Central region that burned over 2,800 acres and destroyed 156 structures, including 38 homes and a winery. The Idaho Foodbank was proud to join emergency responders such as the Rocky Mountain Complex Incident Management Team, VOAD, and the American Red Cross by donating over two pallets of water to be delivered to people without power. The Idaho Foodbank also participated in a MARC site to hand out snack bags and resource flyers. We are saddened to witness the devastation caused by the fires, but we are grateful to help our communities.
