If you could switch your job with anyone else within The Idaho Foodbank, whose job would you want and why?
I’d love to be a truck driver and have the opportunity to drive around our service area, meet all the partners, meet our neighbors, and just have that person-to-person experience that we don’t get by sitting in the office.
What game show do you think you have the best chance of winning?
Family Feud but the sibling edition. I have some weirdly amazing brothers and sisters.
Before working at The Idaho Foodbank, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Prior to working at The Idaho Foodbank, I worked as a news radio newswriter and hosted my own morning program. I was also the program director for a medical program at the same radio station. It was lonely. Lol.
What song is guaranteed to make you sing?
Men Without Hats, “The Safety Dance”.
What is your favorite workday snack?
Fresh cut watermelon or a lime popsicle with tajin.
What is the kindest thing someone has done for you?
While bartending during college, I was unable to afford to fly back home for a family emergency and one of my patrons who has become a lifelong friend, called me up one morning after hearing me talk about it on the phone, and told me he bought me a round-trip flight to go back home. It was the most amazing gift I’ve ever received.
