Stamp Out Hunger on Saturday!

For over 30 years, the National Association of Letter Carriers has hosted the nationwide Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. This year, Stamp Out Hunger is on Saturday, May 11th. People can leave non-perishable food by their mailboxes. This food is picked up by the letter carriers during their mail routes on May 11th and is donated to hunger-relief organizations. The Idaho Foodbank and our food distribution partners receive the food donated in the Treasure Valley, Pocatello, and Idaho Falls so we can make that food available to our neighbors in need.

All non-perishable food donations are appreciated, but some of the most needed items include low sodium canned vegetables, whole grain cereal and pastas, dried and canned beans, and canned protein. You can learn more about the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, including how to make a financial donation on our website
