The Stomp Out Hunger Campaign Benefits The Idaho Foodbank

Meridian, ID – Stinker Stores and The Idaho Foodbank celebrated the results of the Stomp Out Hunger Campaign with a check presentation. Since 2010, Stinker Stores in Idaho have had their
Stomp Out Hunger Campaign to benefit The Idaho Foodbank. This year, Stomp Out Hunger raised $57,500 – enough funds to provide food for over 172,000 meals.

District Manager, Steve Cook, said, “Stinker strives to be a bright spot in our communities. The Stomp Out Hunger campaign has been a fantastic pathway to help make that possible. Charley and Nancy Jones have aways been the fire that lights the way with this campaign, by sharing how blessed they were with having such Stinkin’ amazing employees and customers throughout Idaho and are delighted in our continuing partnership with The Idaho Foodbank, in supporting the work to help Idahoans who are in need.”

During Stomp Out Hunger, Stinker Store employees asked customers to make a donation to The Idaho Foodbank when they paid for their purchases. The Stinker Store that raised the most money during the campaign was in Boise, ID (Store #32) and they raised over $1,700 for Stomp Out Hunger. “We are grateful for the support from Stinker Store employees and customers,” said Randy Ford, President and CEO of The Idaho Foodbank. “This community engagement is key to our work to help Idahoans facing food insecurity.” The Stomp Out Hunger check presentation this year was at the Mixed Martial Arts Front Street Fights at Idaho Central Arena in Boise.
