Summer Empty Bowls Event on June 8th

Empty Bowls Wide Shot

This summer, while agriculture is in full swing in Idaho, we remind ourselves that many Idahoans have empty bowls. To help provide food for Idahoans experiencing food insecurity, The Idaho Foodbank will be hosting Summer Empty Bowls 2024 on Saturday, June 8^th. The event is from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at The Village (3597 East Monarch Sky Lane) in Meridian. The sale of bowls will be set up near the fountain outside Guest Services. Bowls will be available for purchase starting at $15. Thank you to our Gold Sponsors: America First Credit Union and Plexus.

For this event, artisans and community members have painted, created, and donated one-of-a-kind bowls for purchase. Every bowl purchased will help The Foodbank provide food for up to 45 meals for Idahoans in need. We would like to thank our Bronze Sponsor The Land Group; as well as our Studio Sponsors: A Way with Clay and Ceramica. Thank you to The Village at Meridian, who will be graciously hosting.

Please come join us this Saturday to support our work to help fill the bowls for our neighbors facing hunger in our community.
