Saturday marked the 30th anniversary of Stamp Out Hunger and we are happy to report that the National Association of Letter Carriers brought in 90,000 pounds of food in Southwest Idaho and 7,700 pounds in Pocatello.
The Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is the nation’s largest food drive, and our largest food drive in Idaho. This year is the 30th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive and we have a goal of bringing in 150K pounds of food (that’s over 125k meals!!!).
We are cancelling our volunteer shifts at the Meridian warehouse on Saturday, May 14th, but would love for you to register to help with The Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. We need your help at post offices around the Treasure Valley to unload the food that the letter carriers bring back to the post office and pack the food on the trucks to be shipped back to The Idaho Foodbank and our partner agencies.
