Thank You to Idaho’s Farmers

We are in the middle of harvest season and our warehouse features a good variety of local produce. Southwind Farms has been growing colored fingerling potatoes this season. For around 11 months out of the year, they donate roughly 8,000 lbs to The Idaho Foodbank. This huge volume of potatoes is one of our staples that we give out at community food distributions.

The Caldwell Orchard also produces nectarines, delicious gold apples, and peaches. This produce is also donated to help feed Idahoans facing food insecurity. The Idaho Foodbank would like to thank Idaho’s hard-working farmers for their generous donations. They have been working hard this season to provide fresh produce for the community.
